چکیده

Norovirus (NV) is an infectious biological agent that causes gastrointestinal problems of the original nonbacterial appearance foodborne illnesses. The genotype NV responsible for most frequent disease outbreaks GII, accounting 60–80% cases. Moreover, and new variants are continuously emerging, concurrent with recent global increase in infections. Hepatitis A virus (HAV) another pathogen frequently implicated acute gastroenteritis cases around world. transmitted among humans via fecal-oral route, infection by HAV severe form viral illness acquired from foods. In this study, we implemented primer sets to detect genotypes I II. We also developed detection HAV. primers were used a heminested reverse transcriptase PCR (hnRT-PCR) protocol was rapid sensitive detecting NVG1, NVGII food. hnRT-PCR applied successfully strawberries spinach obtained local fresh-food market, where could see NVGI, Keywords: Norovirus1; A2; gastroenteritis3; genotypes4; NVG15; NVGII6; hnRT-PCR7.

Development of Enhanced Primer Sets for Detection of Norovirus

Norovirus (NV) is a major viral pathogen that causes nonbacterial acute gastroenteritis and outbreaks of food-borne disease. The genotype of NV most frequently responsible for NV outbreaks is GII.4, which accounts for 60-80% of cases. Moreover, original and new NV variant types have been continuously emerging, and their emergence is related to the recent global increase in NV infection. In this...

Enhanced detection of enteroviruses in clinical samples by reverse transcription-PCR using complementary locked primer technology.

To increase detection sensitivity, we modified primers using complementary locked primer (CLP) technology. The sensitivity of the reverse transcription-PCR (RT-PCR) with CLP-modified primers was 10- to 100-fold higher than that of RT-PCR without these primers. CLP-modified primers can increase sensitivity, providing a widely accessible method for molecular diagnosis.

Evaluation of twelve real-time reverse transcriptase PCR primer-probe sets for detection of pandemic influenza A/H1N1 2009 virus.

Real-time reverse transcriptase PCR (rRT-PCR) assays have greatly contributed to the detection, control, and prevention of the pandemic influenza A/H1N1 2009 virus. To improve the rRT-PCR assays for detection of pandemic influenza A/H1N1 2009 virus, we evaluated the sensitivity, specificity, and performance of 12 rRT-PCR primer-probe sets [SW (a) to SW (l)] using a panel of virus strains and cl...
